Over the weekend of the March the 11th, our team participated in the Central Valley Chapter of the First Robotics competition. Our robot did exceedingly well, but we also walked away with a list of improvements for our next competition. Implemented correctly, these changes should give us a leading edge over the other rookie teams, as we aim for this year’s rookie award. These changes include physical improvements to our robot (such as a rope climbing mechanism), software improvements (such as the implementation of a vision system to autonomously deliver gears), and non-physical improvements to our team, such as expanded community outreach, and better upkeep of our website and social media. With all of these changes in the works, we anxiously look forward to displaying our robot and team at the Silicon Valley Competition.
